Does contemporary art seem kind of hard to understand? If you give up on it for this reason, you’re missing out! What matters here is not knowledge or the “right” answer. What matters is your own response, taking time to really look at a work and feeling a spark of excitement that makes you say Wow! or What is this?! Even chuckling over something is a perfectly good way to enjoy art. In this workshop, we’ll explore the newest works on view while freely chatting about the curious and mysterious things we notice together.

By sharing what you see with others, you’re sure to discover things you’d never spot on your own. If you’ve ever wondered how you’re supposed to look at art, come find out what happens when that uncertainty turns into a thrill!
*Participants should wear comfortable clothes that they don’t mind getting dirty.
