Culture is accompanied by art. Art comes with current affairs and customs. Kounan is a DIY style art squad that puts it all together. Formed in 2014 after studying Japanese painting in an university. Later became a solo unit of Daijiro Chiba or a collective of Chiba with collaborators. Exhibitions include The 25th Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award Exhibition(2022), Ateburers(2018), Triple Short Hand(2017), Triple Network Gel(2015), participatory act Yaraicho Osiris/ Let's make a new Ontleedkundige Tafelen(2015), artworks include A Bigfoot Painter and The Last Smoker.
