It opened in 2017 on the approach to Osaka Tenmangu Shrine. It closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It operated in a traveling style until October 2025, when it relocated and reopened in Honjo-nishi, Kita-ku, Osaka, in a dilapidated 70-year-old building that it had spent a year and a half mostly renovating itself from scratch.
We witness encounters between artists, works, and ultimately between expression and viewers, and the stories that begin and unfold from there become culture. I hope that many small cultures will be born, enriching the world.
Like a mosaic pattern, small but varied colors and shapes come together to become large and beautiful.
