gallery Unfold has been dedicated to presenting contemporary Asian artーwith a particular emphasis on Taiwan and Japanーto the global art scene since opening in Kyoto in 2024. Through collaboration, exploration, research and curatorial initiatives, gallery Unfold not only showcases contemporary Asian art but also works closely with artists from around the world whose practices resonate with contemporary issues, seeking to translate and convey the meaning and essence of arts to a wider audience.

In early 2026, gallery Unfold launched an artist-in-residence program in Taipei, actively supporting the international development of emerging artists through international exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.
